Home away from home
Spent 5 months at Heron Brook Lodge in comfort. The lodge has every thing you can need or want. Modern with a country home charm .Alisha and Raymond are kind and catering to their guest and always responded with a sense of urgency. Complete privacy while having peace of mind that they’re close by if anything. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will recommend for short or long term accommodation.
Beautiful House & Relaxing Stay
Our family of four had a wonderful 11 night stay recently in Heron Brook Lodge . Alisha and Raymond were fantastic hosts and ensured our every need was accommodated for. The house is beautiful, fully equipped and finished to a very high standard. Highly recommended.
Charming modern country cottage.
Inviting sophisticated modern and warm cottage which served my family for 5 nights over Christmas. Perfect bolt hole to be near my larger extended busy family a few kilometres away. We enjoyed the large kitchen/reception room. The kids loved the space to play. My husband and I enjoyed retreating to the cosy front living room complete With a perfectly placed TV, stove (solid fuel) fire and super comfy sofas.
We found a heron Cottage to be very clean, extensive range of equipment/ utensils.
The bedrooms (3) also very comfortable with amazing mattresses/high quality linen. Bathrooms were excellent.
We really appreciated the overall feel with generous atmospheric lightning in every room.
On a practical level the utility room was Superb and easy to used WM/clothes dryer.
We would highly recommend Heron Lodge and have shared the experience with friends and family.
